Summer Camps
Explorers Forest School offers outdoor summer programs for children ages 4–12 that nurture curiosity, confidence, and a strong connection to nature and community. Located just 15 minutes east of Saskatoon on a private 160-acre prairie and forest landscape, our programs give children time and space to learn, play, and grow outdoors.
Led by Forest School practitioners, our camps are rooted in child-led exploration and hands-on learning in nature. Children are supported as they follow their interests, build confidence, solve problems, and develop a sense of belonging through time spent outdoors with others.
In a busy, indoor-focused world, we offer children the chance to slow down, play freely, and enjoy meaningful time outside. Our camps create lasting memories, strong friendships, and a lifelong appreciation for the outdoors.

Whimsical Fairy & Gnome Village
​Welcome to a whimsical village where fairies and gnomes come to life. Children will build tiny & huge homes, follow their imaginations, and explore the magic of nature through play. A gentle, story-rich camp designed to spark wonder and creativity all summer long.

Guardians of the Forest
Guardians of the Forest invites children to become superheroes through imaginative outdoor play. Campers will complete forest missions, build hideouts, and discover their unique strengths. This summer camp celebrates adventure, teamwork, and the magic of the outdoors.

Time Travelers
Time Travelers Camp takes children on an epic journey through the ages—all in the great outdoors. From caveman survival and medieval quests to imagining the world of the future, campers will explore history through hands-on, imaginative play in nature across time!

Wilderness Survival
Wilderness Survival Camp immerses children in real, hands-on skills needed to thrive in the woods. Campers will learn how to build shelters, start fires safely, problem-solve, and work as a team while exploring the natural world. This week is a true adventure!

Minecraft Forest 3 DAYS ONLY!
Minecraft Forest is a hands-on summer camp inspired by creativity and building—without any digital gaming. Players will hunt for gems, stack blocks, and connect with other Minecraft fans through hands-on, imaginative outdoor play.

Make up Smoke Days
These dates are reserved in the event that programming must be cancelled due to extreme smoke conditions. If a cancellation occurs, families will receive detailed communication regarding the affected date and the scheduled make-up day.
Please note that smoke make-up days apply only to cancellations initiated by Explorers Forest School and do not cover absences due to illness, travel, or other personal reasons.

The specifics about each program will be emailed one week prior to the start date.

Drop-off program: Please pack a big lunch, lots of snacks, & a full water bottle. Apply bug spray & sunscreen before arriving.

100% outdoor nature program: Weather-appropriate attire is required.

Nightly emails with beautiful photos and a summary of each day’s activities.

Children must be able to independently toilet and use an outhouse.
Late Fees

Late pick ups will automatically be charged a $20 fee after camp ends and $1 per minute after 10 minutes. Fees must be paid in full prior to the next camp start day. Payments can be made via etransfer.
Refund Policy

Full payment is required at checkout.

If you cancel at least 4 weeks before camp, you’ll get a full refund minus a $50 non-refundable deposit or hold a full credit towards a future program.

If you cancel less than 4 weeks before camp, no refund is available.

No refunds for one day cancellations due to illness, to acts of God (including weather related cancellations), natural disasters, or epidemics.

If an entire week or block of camp sessions is canceled, you’ll receive a credit voucher for the full amount paid. We recognize that such events are unlikely to occur; but if one does, we will try to rebook.
